Thinking about starting to exercise? Calisthenics is a fantastic, all round discipline that builds on many of the things you would have started in PE for instance, push ups, pull ups, core exercises, a bit of cardio, all with little to no equipment, this is a chilled out, informal group but, make no mistake, we all want and are driven to try new things, we push the limits of what we can do and put our time into learning some new skills like the front lever, handstands, L-sits etc as well as general bodyweight strength and cardiovascular work.
Due to recent changes caused by the coronavirus we only have 1 in-person session a week until university once again allows room bookings. Our online sessions will consist of a warm-up, flexibility routine and a strength or skill based exercise and will take place at 5.30pm-630pm on Mondays. In person sessions are 5pm-7pm on Fridays.
Both our in person and online sessions place an emphasis on enjoyment, these sessions aren't just about exercise and we try and make our classes an environment where friendships can be made and everyone can have a great time. We encourage people of all skill levels to join because we have something for everyone here.
