We offer a range of interventions designed to help students cope with life. Amongst our range of interventions are psychoeducational workshops and groups; these are group-based interventions aimed at the areas you have told us you might need some help with.
Why groups, I prefer one to one contact?
Group work is different than one-to-one intervention in that just as there are certain therapeutic factors which can only exist in an individual context, there are other factors which can only be present when working in a group. Our groups are targeted at areas which students have told us cause problems in their lives, we know that we can provide information, support, skils and techniques which will allow you to feel differently, and working in a group setting can provide element to support growth or change that are impossile to replicate in individual settings.
If you attend our groups or workshops, we won't put you under any pressure to speak, to share, or to become the focus of the group. The material is always the focus of the group, we hope you can be a participatn in whatever way that means.
We have the following programme on offer for semester 1:
What is native?
native is a student events platform that is supporting the student union to bring experiences to students
I need some support about an event, who do I contact?
Please use the chat tool or you can email support@native.fm and please state in your email further details about the event or topic you are asking about so we can deal with your response as quickly as possible.
I have a query that doesn’t relate to an event, who do I contact?
The live chat and native support email will be able to help you with queries about your ticket and account. If your request is something other than this it's best to reach out to the student union and if applicable, the event organiser directly.
