Join us for the Strathclyde University Canoe Club Freestyle Event 2025, a day of exciting paddling and impressive freestyle skills. Whether you're an experienced kayaker or just getting into freestyle, this event is open to all levels.

Who - Anyone whos anyone
The event will feature judged runs with categories for different abilities, giving everyone a chance to take part. Expect a friendly and supportive atmosphere, with plenty of great paddling and some impressive moves on show. Aswell as a Boater x competition in the afternoon where its anyones game for 1st place. Prizes Privided by; Pyrahna, Werner, Palm and more to come...
And for our new edition, after film night were hosting our own ceilidh for competitors and friends at box hub glasgow so make sure to bring your best attire.
• Park Responsibly: follow directions and beware of pedestrians
• Must wear safety kit on the course and in front of barriers
• Listen to Safety Team
• Must attend safety talk to be allowed on the water
• Kit will be randomly checked (airbags)
• Drink or Drugs prohibited!
• Act within abilities, never put yourself in an unsafe situation, on or off the water!
• See it. Say it. Sorted! Report any safety concerns to your nearest Safety
• Clubs/ Universities are responsible for their own
• Any issues find the nearest member of SUCC
• Groups will be published morning of and displaved in the classroom
• Keep kit organised (and labelled)
• SUCC and Pinkston accept no responsibilty for lost of damaged kit!
• Take loads of photos and videos and tag strathcanoe on instagram (prizes available)
• First Aiders and First Aid kits in the classroom
• Bring plenty of layers/ change of clothes
• Use showers available!
