StrathMTB Trip 1 Aviemore and Laggan

The first StrathMTB trip of the year heading up the A9 to Laggan and Aviemore! We will be leaving just after 5pm on Friday the 9th of October and returning later on Sunday the 11th.

We have accomodation booked in Laggan Village Hall for both nights with dinner included both nights! There are also showers available here so you can rinse all the mud away. Roll mats and sleeping bags will be required but if you don't have either please let us know later in this form.

On the Saturday we will be making the short drive along to Laggan Wolftrax to ride both the signposted trail centre side as well as potentially the off-piste trails on the other side of the hill.

On Sunday the plan is to head to Aviemore to ride High Burnside which has lots of entertaining natural singletrack with plenty of fun rock slabs to keep us entertained.

After this we will be driving back down the road (perhaps via a chippy) to drop everyone off outside the Uni.

Although we will have access to shops intermittently throughout the weekend and dinner will be provided for you, we would recommend that you bring plenty of food and snacks to keep yourself fed.

Please make sure you take all of your relevant bike kit for the weekend also (helmet, waterproofs, warm kit, shoes etc...) see our kit list!
