Scottish Parliamentary Elections Hustings
Please note this hustings is a non-selective hustings that is based upon a candidate being a part of a political party currently sitting within Holyrood. Six candidates from the six parties currently represented in Holyrood will answer student questions on the issues that matter most to them.
The candidates attending the hustings are as followed:
- Daniel Barlow - Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party
- Iris Duane - Scottish Green Party
- Vonnie Sandlan - Scottish Labour Party
- Kim Schmullian - Reform UK
- Unconfirmed - Scottish Nationalist Party
- Unconfirmed - Scottish Liberal Democrats
The candidates invited represent a range of views across the political spectrum.

All candidates will have 30 seconds to respond to the opening question, “What does your platform offer to students at Strathclyde?” Questions will then be asked to candidates that came from the audience and general Strathclyde student population.
