The University of Strathclyde Darts Club is hosting our first charity darts tournament, and everyone is welcome to get involved. Whether you’re a regular darts player or just fancy giving it a go, this event is all about having a good time while raising money for a good cause.
The tournament will take place on 26 March 2026 at 5:00pm in the Strathclyde Union. Players will compete in a group stage followed by knockout rounds, so everyone gets a few games in before the competition heats up. Matches will be played in a simple 501 best-of-three format, making it easy for both experienced players and beginners to take part.
Entry will cost £10 per player, with part of the entry fees going towards charity. It’s a great chance to enjoy a relaxed evening of darts with other students while supporting a meaningful cause.
There will also be a bit of friendly competition on the line, with £50 prize money awarded to the tournament winner on the night.
This event is the first step in building a darts community at Strathclyde, and we’re hoping to see plenty of students come along, take part, and enjoy the atmosphere.
So grab your friends, test your aim, and join us on 26 March at the Strath Union for a fun night of darts, charity, and a bit of competition
