We will meet at Strathclyde Sport at 6pm on Friday, 17th January, and return late on Sunday, 19th January.
You must have attended two pool sessions and done a swim test and wet exit! Attendance on at least one day trip is strongly encouraged. Please read the full description! No Refunds or exchanges under any circumstances! If you buy the wrong ticket it will be cancelled, without a refund!
Early entry General Ticket only available until sunday 5th January. (11.59pm). Any remaining tickets will go up to £70!
To attend you must have Sports Union, Canoe (free) and Paddle Scotland (free) Memberships (info posts on this on strathcanoe instagram - any queries please ask). Please complete medical form (on linktree) and make sure dietary preferences are up to date!

Now for the fun stuff: We'll be headed to Glencoe to give you a once in a lifetime (not actually but it'll be awesome) experience of whitewater and river kayaking, we provide all the equipment and transport. Meet at 6pm at Strathclyde Sport, on Friday the 17th of January!
Rivers are subject to water conditions but expect fun for all levels!
Included:
- All transport
- All kayaking equipment
- Accomodation Glencoe village hall (town hall and we will be sleeping on the floor)
- Saturday dinner, Saturday and sunday morning breakfast. Meaning you will need lunch both days, we will stop at takeaways on friday and sunday night
- River Leading and Safety
You bring:
- Old trainers to wear on the water
- Swim stuff to wear under wetsuit (2 for both days advised)
- Towel
- Warm, dry clothes for when off the river especially for the time of year, like lots of thermals
- Sleeping bag and mat/ camp bed/ air mattress and pillow (if you don't have this please message group chat as some people have spares. Decathlon and mountain warehouse are good options if you want to buy)
- Packed lunch for both days (and water bottles) and snacks
- Decent shoes for exploring and watching saftey do stupid shit
- Booze for the evenings (or non-alcoholic drinks)
