Glasgow Goes Green: Strathclyde University Nature Trail

This Glasgow Goes Green Week, join Strath Union and Sustainable Strathclyde for our Strathclyde University Nature Trail – an opportunity to take a lunch time walk, disconnect from our screens and learn a little more about the trees you can find on our campus. Inspired by the Every Tree Tells a Story project, there will be some time to reflect on your own stories about trees and fill out a postcard which will form a display at the Mitchell Library. Every Tree Tells a Story uses community participation to share stories and knowledge of trees in Glasgow and beyond.

Meeting at 1pm at Strath Union’s Welcome Desk, the walk will be led by student volunteers and Strath Union staff and will last about 45 minutes, taking in the variety of trees you can find on campus. It will end at 1:45, back at Strath Union. All are welcome to stay on for a tea or coffee and a chat at the Union, where our Volunteering Coordinator will be happy to answer any questions you might have about getting involved in sustainability volunteering opportunities on campus and across the city.
