Fight Ceilidh…

Now for all the important information. Fight ceilidh will be held in the drawing room in Glasgow University Union then people will be ending the night in hive. We have the amazing @glaceilidh band performing and helping us through the dances. They will start the dancing for 8pm but please get there before so you are ready for the dancing. Then the people will need to leave the drawing room by 12 and if they want to can head to hive. There is free entry to hive before 8pm so it may be good to get to hive before 8pm to get free entry then head to the drawing room BEFORE 8pm. The price of the ticket will be £15 + checkout fees, the ticket is for access to event NOT access to hive. The tickets will be checked at the door. There is bar within the drawing room so please don’t bring your own drinks.  

All the proceeds from this ceilidh will going to the charity Geez a Gi. Geez a Gi is a non-profit organisation based in Glasgow, their mission is to make martial arts accessible to all. There are many financial barriers that can stop individuals from taking part in the martial arts we love. So Geez a Gi provides Gi and money to allow people to buy Gis or other specific martial arts equipment. Their team is dedicated to helping everyone, regardless of their financial situation, to achieve their martial arts goals whether they are just starting out or are already on their journey.
