Charity Shop Crawl and Visit to Barras Market

After picking up your item at the Pre-Loved Market, join us for a stroll around some of the best charity shops near campus! As a cherry on top, we will end our tour at the world famous and iconic Barras Market, a mixture of street markets, indoor markets, shops and pubs. Just about anything can be purchased at the Barras and it is not one to miss! Buying second hand is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint and supporting local charities while getting all your essentials for your new room or anything else you might desire for Freshers' Week and beyond. 

We will meet at the Strath Union reception (Welcome Desk) on level 1 of the building, 51 Richmond Street to leave for the walk.

Please note the 13:00 group will work in reverse order going to the Barras directly from Strath Union reception (Welcome Desk) and ending back at Strath Union.
