Voice Room, Strath Union, Level 1
Free
Once you know who holds the power, you can lobby in support or opposition of their actions and policies. Lobbying involves directly communicating with those in power over a period of time, clearly stating your position, having strong communication skills, mobilising students to support you, and sometimes collating evidence and writing reports to support your demand. It can be a powerful tool for campaigners, and a lot of change at Strathclyde has been achieved through students lobbying the University!
This session is free, please register your place by booking a ticket.
