Join the University of Strathclyde Nigerian Society for our Black History Month Costume Party 2026!
We are bringing students together for an evening of culture, creativity, fashion, music and community as we celebrate Black History Month.
Expect a relaxed and lively event featuring a costume contest, fashion showcase, games, performances, music, food, drinks and opportunities to meet new people.
You are welcome to come dressed in cultural, traditional, creative or themed attire, or simply wear something you feel comfortable in. We encourage everyone to celebrate respectfully and avoid outfits that stereotype or caricature any culture, ethnicity or identity.

Admission is free, but registration is required so that we can manage attendance and catering.
